IACE KOREA

This ticket is exclusively for the use of foreign travelers. Travelers may purchase a KR PASS voucher (e-ticket) from overseas distributors or from the KORAIL homepage. Travelers booking tickets online will receive an e-ticket via email, which must be exchanged for a KR PASS upon arrival in Korea. Each KR PASS may only be used for the designated period of time, as specified by each ticket type.
KR PASS holders can travel for free on all trains managed by KORAIL (including the KTX). There are no limits on the frequency of travel or travel area. Please note, however, that KR PASS is not eligible for use on subways or tour trains.

KR PASS는 외국인 여행자들의 한국 열차 이용을 위한 독점적인 티켓입니다. 여행자분들은 KR PASS 할인권(E-TICKET)을 해외 Agency나 KORAIL 홈페이지에서 구매하실 수 있으며 온라인으로 구매하신 분들은 이메일을 통해 E-TICKET을 받아 보실 수 있습니다. (E-TICKET은 한국 도착 시 반드시 지정된 장소에서 교환하셔야 합니다.) 각 KR PASS 는 티켓 종류에 따라 지정된 기간내에만 사용하실 수 있으므로 주의하여 주십시오.

KR PASS 특전: 티켓 소지자는 KORAIL에 의해 운영되는 모든 열차(KTX포함)를 무료로 사용하실 수 있으며, 다른 여행지에 대해서도 횟수제한 없이 무제한으로 탑승 하실 수 있습니다.
주의점: KR PASS로 지하철 및 여행용객차는 사용하실수 없습니다.

Limitation of Use
The KR PASS is only available for non- Koreans citizens who have spent less than 6 months in Korea.
KR PASS passengers cannot be designated general seating on KTX, Saemaeul (새마을) or Mugunghwa (무궁화) trains during major Korean holidays and peak seasons, such as Lunar New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, summer vacation, and New Year’s. However, standing room may be offered if available.

• KR PASS는 한국체재 기간이 6개월 미만의 외국인에 한하여 사용하실 수 있습니다.
• 신용카드 이용은 소지자 본인만 가능하며 본인의 카드가 아닐 경우에는 카드소지자 동행시 본인 확인을 한 후 결제 가능합니다.
• 한국명절 및 휴일, 성수기에는 KTX, 새마을, 무궁화열차의 일반 좌석을 배정 받으실 수 없으므로 유의하여 주십시오. 때에 따라 입석이 배정되는 경우도 있습니다. 예) 신년,음력설,추석,여름 성수기

• ‘SAVE’ PASS: For groups of 2 to 5. Each group member’s information (full name and passport number) must be given at the time of reservation
• ‘YOUTH’ PASS: Passengers holding a valid International Student Identification Card (no age restrictions apply)
• 4세 미만의 아동에게는 요금이 청구되지 않습니다.
• 'NORMAL' PASS: 성인 및 4세 이상 아동에 해당됩니다. (12세 미만의 경우는 아동 할인율이 적용됩니다)
• 'SAVE” PASS: 2-5명의 단체에 해당됩니다. 예약시 각 인원의 정보(Full Name과 여권번호)가 반드시 필요합니다.
• 'YOUTH' PASS: 외국 학생증을 소지하고 계신 승객분에 한하여 적용 가능합니다.

Make your reservation online at the KORAIL homepage and print out your e-ticket. Your payment information will be collected when you make your reservation, but your account will not be charged until you exchange your e-ticket for your KR PASS upon arrival in Korea.
먼저 코레일 홈페이지에서 예약을 완료하신 후 승인받은 E-ticket을 출력하여 주세요. (예약시 고객님의 납부여부에 대한 정보를 확인하게 되며 한국에서 고객님께서 직접 KR PASS로 교환하시기 전까지는 요금이 청구되지 않습니다.

Purchase the KR PASS Voucher at appointed travel agencies outside of Korea.

1. E-tickets must be paid for and exchanged for KR passes within 60 days of making your reservation or your reservation will be automatically cancelled. (Cancellation fees do not apply).
1. 예약을 하신 시점에서 60일 이내 반드시 요금을 지불하셔야 하며 E-ticket또한 KR PASS로 교환하셔야 합니다. 렇지 않을 시에는 동으로 취소가 되오니 주의하여 주세요. (취소요금은 부과되지 않습니다)

2. Prices quoted at the time of reservation are quoted in Korean won (KRW). Currency exchange rates will be calculated at the time of purchase (upon exchanging your e-ticket in Korea) and the appropriate amount will be deducted from your account.
2. 예약시 요금은 한국 원(KRW)으로 책정됩니다. 한국에서 E-ticket으로 교환시 해당 교환일시의 환율로 구매금액이 책정되며, 그에 충당하는 요금이 고객님의 계좌에서 빠져나가게 됩니다. 주의하여 주십시오.

3. The KR PASS is a registered pass that cannot be used by any other individual. Passengers must present their passport prior to each use.

4. Please note that e-tickets must be purchased at least five days in advance, as it will take roughly this long for your KR PASS to be processed.
4.주의점 : 본인의 KR PASS로 교환되기까지는 최소 5일이 걸리므로 E-ticket은 반드시 적어도 5일이내에 구매되어야 합니다.

5. If you lose your e-ticket, you may print it again from the KORAIL website. However, KR PASS cannot be reissued if lost.
