Its most famous attration is Halla Mountain, which is the highest mountain in South Korea (1950m). It stands at the center of Jeju Island. This mountain is a home to plants and houses. It also boasts luxuriant natural forests and vast grasslands.

It was originally an island of volcano, but the gravels and the sand piled up between this island and the the ground near the island. On the top of it, there is a huge crater which its diameter is 600m. The view of the sunrise here is truly remarkable.

The Dol Harubang is carved from the volcanic rock and in many different size up to 3 meters high. They are considered to be the protection and fertility gods. Therefore, it is placed outside of gates for protection against demons travelling between realities. Also, it is widely known for its power of birthing son if the woman touches its nose. Therefore, many female tourists love harubang.
