Myeongdong

Myeongdong is one of Seoul's main shopping zones featuring mid to high priced retail stores. It is particularly popular to young people and tourists for the fashion. Hence, it is said that this is one of the places where the tourists, specially those of young tourists from other countries, must visit if they come to Korea. Also, several large shopping centers and department stores are in Myeongdong. Therefore, people in all ages can enjoy the shopping together.

Insadong

Insadong is well known as a traditional street and represents the culture of the past and the present. In an urban area of Seoul, Insadong contains a mixture of historical and modern atmosphere that makes Insadong itself as a unique area that truly represents the cultural history of the nation.

Cheonggyecheon

Cheonggyecheon is a modern public recreation space in the middle of downtown Seoul. From the beginning, it was the open stream. However, after the Korean War, it was once covered up with concrete and then built an elevated highway over it because of the deteriorating conditions by the trash and sand. In 2003, a project to remove the elevated highway and restore the stream was initiated and finally, in 2005, the stream was opened to the public. The success project of Cheonggyecheon gives the positive influence to improve the atmospheric environment in the region. Its beautiful view coming from the environment with clean water and natural habitats is the its best achievement.

COEX Mall

COEX Mall is an underground shopping mall located in Seoul. It is the largest underground shopping mall in Asia with an area of about 85,000 square meters. In this mall, there are two food courts, a theater, an aquarium attraction, a large bookstore, and the Kimchi Field Museum. This is a perfect place to do all different things in one place.
